As a passionate well-educated woman I have become a sage of life. I am privileged to be a wife, sister, friend, aunt, mother and grandmother and cherish these relationships above all else. Interactions with people are my most valued pastimes.
I spent most of my professional career in nursing and midwifery; believing in and supporting, as the fundamental basis of my practice, a right to choice.
My career spanned many diverse locales in NSW, QLD and the NT. I worked in various environments; large teaching hospitals, private hospitals, community nursing, home birthing and remote area nursing in East Arnhem Land.
Prior to retirement I was employed as the Chief Executive Officer of a large charitable organisation specialising in suicide support.
I have always worked in people-related industries in a respectful manner, driven by compassion and empathy.
These qualities and experiences now underpin my practice as a registered professional celebrant and enable me to work with families as they experience and travel life’s journeys.
My practice is based in the Hunter Valley NSW, however I am happy to travel anywhere in Australia, by special arrangement.”
